Cotesworth, a 501(c)3, non-profit foundation, is dedicated to preserving and sharing the legacy of Cotesworth as an educational center, heritage site, and venue which brings economic and educational benefits to the region and to the people of Carroll County.  Due to its unique location, Cotesworth serves as a link between two National Heritage Areas, the Mississippi Hills and the Mississippi Delta.  

Since acquiring the ancestral home of U. S. Senator J. Z. George in 2013, Cotesworth has served Carroll County and the surrounding area as a venue for numerous private and public events, including programs on agri-tourism featuring top-notch speakers such as Mississippi Supreme Court Justice William Waller, Jr., and Former Secretary of Agriculture and U. S. Congressman Mike Espy.  Cotesworth has also served as an ideal location for numerous programs promoting local heritage, performing arts, visual arts, and literary conferences. 

Currently, the economic conditions that affect so many have likewise affected Cotesworth, and its continued service to the community and the citizens of this area is at risk.  For this reason, we are soliciting sponsors for Cotesworth to help us insure the future of Cotesworth for future generations.
