    At Cotesworth Culture & Heritage Center, Carroll County, Mississippi

    The majestic Cotesworth Culture & Heritage Center will transform into a winter wonderland for “A Christmas Carroll: Trees of Cotesworth” — a sparkling celebration season featuring 25 uniquely decorated Christmas trees, decor, and festive displays throughout the historic 1840s Greek Revival home with various ticketed events and private events. Come celebrate the season in historic style!

    HOW TO GET INVOLVED:

    • Attend a ticketed event or reserve Cotesworth during this time for your private event!

    Special Events during A Christmas Carroll: Trees of Cotesworth

    November 2025

    • Saturday, November 15:  Picture Yourself at Cotesworth, 9 a.m.–1 p.m.
    • Saturday, November 15:  A Christmas Carroll Opening Gala, 6-8 p.m., $15/person. Come view the trees and tour this historic house from 6 pm to 8pm. Enjoy light refreshments and music and meet the artist who created the Cotesworth ornament.
    • Tuesday, November 18:  House Tours, 1–3 p.m., $10/person. Come view the trees and tour historic Cotesworth
    • Thursday, November 20:  Cotesworth’s Sweet Exchange, 6–7 p.m. Donations appreciated. Do you have a favorite sweet recipe to share?  Want to sample new sweet recipes?  Then the Cotesworth Sweet Exchange is a must.  Bring 24 pieces of your favorite sweet and 24 copies of the recipe [or bring a few copies and we can snap pictures of them] to share.
    • Saturday, November 22:  Christmas Card Painting Party, 10 a.m. ($20)
    • Tuesday, November 25:  Relax at Cotesworth, 5–8 p.m. $45/30-min session. Relax at Cotesworth in a spa-like atmosphere with soft music, eucalyptus mist, and  citrus-infused water to recharge for the holiday season.  These 30-minute sessions are perfect for a sister or couples session as two therapists from Tyler Holmes Memorial Hospital will be available for each time slot.

    December 2025

    • Saturday, December 6:  Cocoa with Mrs. Claus, 10 a.m. Young children should be accompanied by an adult$5/person
    • Sunday, December 7:  Methodist Program
    • Thursday, December 11:  House Tours, 2–4 p.m. and 6–7 p.m., $10/person. Come view the trees and tour historic Cotesworth
    • Saturday, December 13:  Wreath Making Class, 10 a.m.–1 p.m.
    • Saturday, December 13:  Christmas Tea, 3–4:30 p.m. Bring your tea cup and saucer, enjoy a Christmas tea with friends, and then make a tea cup arrangement to use at home under the direction of noted Nashville floral designer Richard Edwards. $30/person
    • Sunday, December 14:  CBC Program
    • Saturday, December 27:  Brunch at Bethlehem, 10–11 a.m. Hear the Christmas story from the Bethlehem innkeeper and his wife, make a craft, and have a snack. Young children should be accompanied by an adult. $5/person

        • From US HWY 82, turn north onto State HWY 17/35 and go through a 4-way stop at the Courthouse.
        • Continue north, cross a creek, and enter North Carrollton.
        • Go to the next 4-way stop and turn right.
        • The road makes a gentle turn left of a brick building. Go 2 blocks and turn left over the railroad.
        • Stay on this road (HWY 17/Jefferson Road) for approximately 1.25 miles. Cotesworth will be on your left.
